Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL), 2-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Blazing Trojan battle the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 6. Bloom will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Red Wolves come into the match with a 5-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL).
With the loss, Thornton drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL) to battle the Raptors in a Southland match on Thursday, September 7.
