The Burlington Grayhounds held off the visiting Washington Demons volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Grayhounds now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Burlington will confront a Huskies team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-3.

The Demons (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Washington was nudged by Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
