The Crescent Tigers held off the host Liberty Red Devils volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Tigers now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seneca for a AAA Region 1 test on Thursday, September 7. Crescent will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Greer (Greer, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-3.

The Red Devils (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Landrum (Landrum, SC). The Cardinals enter the AA Region 1 test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Landrum was nudged by Chapman (Inman, SC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
