Alaska High School Volleyball - Lathrop over Delta

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) and the visiting Delta Huskies (Delta Junction, AK), saw Lathrop's volleyball squad beat Delta by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Lathrop upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Malemutes travel to Valdez (Valdez, AK) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Valdez 1-1 in their recent non-league bout against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK)

The Huskies now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ben Eielson for a 3A Aurora bout on Wednesday, September 13. Delta will play a Ravens squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK). The Ravens record now stands at 1-8.
