In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Galesburg Silver Streaks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the East Moline United Panthers.

The Silver Streaks (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Blue Devils come into the Western Big 6 battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Quincy lost by Sterling (Sterling, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) in a Western Big 6 battle, on Thursday, September 7. East Moline United will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Maple Leafs come into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Alleman (Rock Island, IL).
