With the win, East Union upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Urchins host Saltillo (Saltillo, MS) to face the Tigers in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 7. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 5-3. Saltillo lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS)

The Troopers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Shannon for a Class 4 Region 2 outing on Monday, September 11. Mooreville will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over New Site (New Site, MS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 9-4.
