In Tuesday's league contest, the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) in a Mid-State 3A contest, on Thursday, September 7. Rockingham County will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Bison go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC).

With the loss, Eastern Guilford moves to 3-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC) to battle the Camels in a Mid-State 3A contest on Thursday, September 7. The Camels go into the contest with a record of 1-5. Atkins lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
