In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Fluvanna County Flying Flucos volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets.

The Flying Flucos (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights come into the Jefferson battle with a 1-3 record.

Next, the Green Hornets clash with the Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA) in a Shenandoah battle, on Thursday, September 7. Wilson Memorial will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Little Giants come into the battle with a 3-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA).
