The Tigers now have a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lamar County for a 1A Area 4 game on Tuesday, September 5. Temple will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-5.

The Patriots (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Trojans enter the 1A Area 4 game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Lamar County gained a win over Crawford County (Roberta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
