The Hancock Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting West Harrison Hurricanes to 1 in the Hawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Hawks now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Long Beach for a Class 5 Region 7 game on Thursday, September 7. Hancock will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Picayune (Picayune, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-4.

The Hurricanes (9-4) will now prepare for their game against George County (Lucedale, MS). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, George County defeated Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
