The Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting June Buchanan Crusaders to 0 in the Cougars / Lady Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars / Lady Cougars now have a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knott County Central for a District 53 game on Wednesday, September 6. Letcher County Central will meet a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 league win over Jenkins (Jenkins, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 8-2.

The Crusaders (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Jackson City (Jackson, KY). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 4-6 record.
