With the win, Pinole Valley upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Spartans host Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA) to play the Pride in a Tri-County outing on Thursday, September 7. The Pride go into the outing with a record of 7-3. Salesian College Preparatory won 3-0 in their recent league outing against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA)

The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Vallejo for a Tri-County outing on Thursday, September 7. Kennedy will play a Red Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Swett (Crockett, CA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 0-6.
