Mississippi High School Volleyball - Union overwhelmed by Lamar

September 5, 2023: Meridian, MS 39305

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Lamar Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Union Yellowjackets.

The Raiders (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Presbyterian Christian lost by Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS) in a Class 3 Region 5 battle, on Thursday, September 7. Union will attempt to advance on its 12-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 4-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Stringer (Stringer, MS).
