The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Scholars Guild Academy Spartans to 1 in the Lightning league victory on Tuesday.

The Lightning now have a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Georgia Force Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, September 7. Lanier Christian Academy will meet a Blue Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Scholars Guild Academy (Loganville, GA). The Blue Knights record now stands at 4-5.

The Spartans (3-7) will now prepare for their game against St. John Bosco Academy (Cumming, GA). The enter the GAPPS DI-AAA Region 2 game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, St. John Bosco Academy dropped by Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
