In Tuesday's league battle, the host Marshall Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Luverne Cardinals.
The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Owatonna lost by Mankato West (Mankato, MN), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Cardinals clash with the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers (Westbrook, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 7. Luverne will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, MN).
