Ohio High School Volleyball - Marlington over Minerva

Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Dukes clash with the Salem Quakers (Salem, OH) in a Northeastern Buckeye match, on Thursday, September 7. Marlington will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Quakers come into the match with a 0-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH).

With the loss, Minerva drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Alliance (Alliance, OH) to clash with the Aviators in a Northeastern Buckeye match on Thursday, September 7. The Aviators come into the match with a record of 1-5. Alliance lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Louisville (Louisville, OH)
