The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the McMinnville Grizzlies (McMinnville, OR) and the visiting Newberg Tigers (Newberg, OR), saw McMinnville's volleyball squad beat Newberg by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, McMinnville upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Century (Hillsboro, OR) to play the Jaguars in a 6A Pacific bout on Thursday, September 7. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Sherwood for a 6A Pacific bout on Thursday, September 7. Newberg will play a Bowmen squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Westview (Portland, OR). The Bowmen record now stands at 1-1.
