The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) and the visiting Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN), saw Minnewaska Area's volleyball squad beat Montevideo by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Minnewaska Area upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Lakers host Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Westbrook-Walnut Grove won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Luverne (Luverne, MN)

The Thunderhawks now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to B O L D for a West Central bout on Thursday, September 7. Montevideo will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Benson (Benson, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.
