The Tigers (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Westlake (Atlanta, GA). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, Westlake defeated Excel Christian Academy (Cartersville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions encounter the Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 7. M.L. King will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Clayton (College Park, GA).
