The Powhatan Indians volleyball team (Powhatan, VA), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA)

The Chiefs (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Skyhawks enter the Dominion challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, L.C. Bird was dropped by Manchester (Midlothian, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Powhatan will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA).
