The Tupelo Golden Wave topped the host Murrah Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Golden Wave now have a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Starkville for a Class 7 Region 2 test on Thursday, September 7.
The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Madison Central (Madison, MS). The Jaguars enter the Class 7 Region 2 test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Madison Central gained a win over West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
