The Rockets (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Chargers enter the Class 6 Region 2 challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Callaway went down by Columbus (Columbus, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gators encounter the Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) in a Class 6 Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Vicksburg will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS).
