In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Wellborn Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Piedmont Bulldogs.
The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against White Plains (Anniston, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, White Plains lost by Faith Christian (Anniston, AL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Ohatchee Indians (Ohatchee, AL) in a 3A Area 10 battle, on Thursday, September 7. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL).
