With the win, Roosevelt upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Rough Riders host Sunnyside (Fresno, CA) to play the Wildcats in a CMAC/NYL bout on Thursday, September 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Sunnyside lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Madera South (Madera, CA)

The Toros now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to McLane for a CMAC/NYL bout on Thursday, September 7. Torres will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Washington Union (Fresno, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-9.
