The St. Helens Lions volleyball team (St. Helens, OR), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Tillamook Cheesemakers (Tillamook, OR)

The Cheesemakers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Seaside (Seaside, OR). The Seagulls enter the 4A Cowapa challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Seaside was dropped by Scappoose (Scappoose, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions encounter the Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR) in a 4A Cowapa challenge, on Wednesday, September 6. St. Helens will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Fishermen enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Estacada (Estacada, OR).
