In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Cathedral Academy Generals volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes.

The Generals (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Landsharks come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Oceanside Collegiate Academy beat Bishop England (Charleston, SC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Swamp Foxes meet the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Ashley Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
