In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the King's Christian Academy Lions.

The EAGLES (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Westover Christian Academy lost by Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Faith Christian Warriors (Roanoke, VA) in a challenge, on Friday, September 6. King's Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Non Freshman Opponent (, ).
