The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Windward won 38-12 in their recent non-league battle against Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA)

The Lancers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Newbury Park for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. Carlsbad will play a Panthers team coming off a 34-28 league loss to Westlake (Westlake Village, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
