Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) and the visiting Concord Minutemen (Elkhart, IN), saw Elkhart's soccer squad knock off Concord by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Northridge (Middlebury, IN). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Northridge tipped NorthWood (Nappanee, IN), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Minutemen battle the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Concord will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Fighting 59ers enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN).
