The Spartans now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Thomaston for a Berkshire test on Tuesday, September 10. Shepaug Valley will confront a Bears squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
