Next up, the Cardinals confront the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 9. East Wilkes will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).

The Trojans (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks go into the non-league game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Elkin was dropped by Starmount (Boonville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
