In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Central Woodstock Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Riverheads Gladiators.

The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarke County (Berryville, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Clarke County beat Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators play the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 9. Riverheads will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bassett (Bassett, VA).
