The Clayton Comets topped the host Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Comets face the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 12. Clayton will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 9-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC).

The Bulldogs (0-6) will now prepare for their game against South Garner (Garner, NC). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, South Garner went down by Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
