The J.I. Burton Black Raiders prevailed the host Lee Generals volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Black Raiders confront the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 9. J.I. Burton will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Wave enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over River View (Bradshaw, WV).

The Generals (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Black Bears enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
