The Tuscola Mountaineers volleyball squad (Waynesville, NC), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC)

With the win, Pisgah improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bears travel to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-8.

The Mountaineers now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league battle on Monday, September 9. Tuscola will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
