In Thursday's league challenge, the host Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers.

The Wolves (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Christian (Roseville, CA). The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Valley Christian lost by Foresthill (Foresthill, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers play the Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Sacramento Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to El Dorado (Placerville, CA).
