In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Scotland Fighting Scots volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Pauls Bulldogs.

The Fighting Scots (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Pinecrest beat Lee County (Sanford, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. St. Pauls will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over South Columbus (Tabor City, NC).
