Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Eastern York Golden Knights (Wrightsville, PA) and the host Dover Eagles (Dover, PA), saw Eastern York's soccer squad knock off Dover by a count of 4-1.

The Golden Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Manheim Central (Manheim, PA). The Barons enter the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Manheim Central by York Suburban (York, PA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Delone Catholic Squires (McSherrystown, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Dover will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Squires enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 2-2 non-league Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA).
