The Sailors (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Caledonia (Caledonia, MI). The Fighting Scots enter the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Caledonia was overwhelmed by Byron Center (Byron Center, MI), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Big Reds confront the Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 9. Muskegon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 8-1 league loss to Fremont (Fremont, MI).
