With the triumph, Adair upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Warriors host Westville (Westville, OK) to play the Yellowjackets in a 3A game on Tuesday, September 10. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 7-6.

The Cougars now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kansas for a 3A game on Monday, September 9. Keys will play a Comets squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Comets record now stands at 8-9.
