In Thursday's league test, the Strong Rock Christian Patriots (Locust Grove, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Brookstone Cougars (Columbus, GA), by a tally of 14-2.

Next, the Patriots meet the Calvary Christian Knights (Columbus, GA) in a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 5 test, on Tuesday, September 10. Strong Rock Christian will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 8-5 record after their 8-7 non-league win over King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA).

The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their test against First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, First Presbyterian Day toppled Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA), 14-11, in a league test.
