The Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs overwhelmed the host Bryan County Redskins softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 10-1 league win over Jenkins County (Millen, GA).

The Redskins (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Metter (Metter, GA). The Tigers go into the 1A D-II Region 3 challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Metter toppled Portal (Portal, GA), 12-1, in a league challenge.
