The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK) and the host Clinton Red Tornadoes (Clinton, OK), observed Kingfisher's softball team notch a victory over Clinton by a final score of 16-0.

The Yellowjackets (13-2) will now prepare for their bout against Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 2-11 record.

In their next game, the Red Tornadoes battle the Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Monday, September 9. Clinton will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record.
