In Thursday's league test, the Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), by a tally of 17-0.

Next, the Trojans meet the Christian Heritage Lions (Dalton, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 test, on Tuesday, September 10. Gordon Lee will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 4-8 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA).

The Eagles (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Wolverines go into the 1A D-I Region 7 test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Dade County toppled Chattooga (Summerville, GA), 5-1, in a league test.
