Hulbert Riders (Hulbert, OK) boosters exited the stadium happy Thursday as they observed their softball team get by the visiting Mounds Golden Eagles (Mounds, OK), 12-6 in a league bout.

The Riders (6-9) will now prepare for their bout against Wilson (Wilson, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 11-4 record. In their last bout, Wilson tipped Frontier (Red Rock, OK), 6-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats (Chouteau, OK) in a 2A bout, on Monday, September 9. Mounds will attempt to advance on its 6-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 22-2 league win over Liberty (Mounds, OK).
