With the triumph, Roswell improves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Hornets host Gainesville (Gainesville, GA) to play the Red Elephants in a 5A Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 10. The Red Elephants enter the game with a record of 4-9.

The Longhorns now hold a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Chattahoochee for a 5A Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 10. Lanier will play a Cougars squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Centennial (Roswell, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.
