The Schley County Wildcats softball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting Macon County Bulldogs to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hawkinsville for a non-league battle on Monday, September 9. Schley County will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 10-1 league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Macon County moves to 0-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Taylor County (Butler, GA) to confront the Vikings in a 1A D-II Region 6 battle on Thursday, September 12. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 11-6. Taylor County won 6-4 in their recent league battle against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)
