In Thursday's league test, the Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) softball squad the visiting Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA), by a tally of 8-5.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 9. Perry will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Gryphons go into the test with a 10-3 record after their 13-2 league win over Bleckley County (Cochran, GA).

The Yellow Jackets (12-5) will now prepare for their test against South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, South Effingham held off Brunswick (Brunswick, GA), 10-0, in a league test.
