The Sequoyah Indians overwhelmed the host Vian Wolverines softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 9. Sequoyah will attempt to upgrade on its 16-1 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 4-19 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Chelsea (Chelsea, OK).

The Wolverines (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Roland (Roland, OK). The Rangers go into the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Roland was routed by Spiro (Spiro, OK), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
