The Strother Yellowjackets softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Wetumka Chieftains to 2 in the Yellowjackets league win on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowlegs for a Class A battle on Monday, September 9. Strother will confront a Bison team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Graham/Dustin (Weleetka, OK). The Bison record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Wetumka moves to 0-12 on the season. The Chieftains travel to New Lima (New Lima, OK) to confront the Falcons in a Class A battle on Monday, September 9. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 7-10.
